Medusa
This is a very alcoholic drinking game that’s likely to get everyone pretty tipsy very quickly! So remember to be careful and know your limits. You only need some shots to play, so it’s really easy to set up and can be a good drinking game for large groups that don’t know each other very well.
What You’ll Need:
- Shot glasses filled with whatever drink you want!
How Long Does it Last? Anywhere from 10 minutes works best
Number of Players: 5+ people
How to Play:
- Fill as many shot glasses as you’ve got.
- Get all the players together in a circle around a table with the shots.
- All the players must lower their heads so no one can look at each other.
Someone counts down from 3 to 1 and then everyone must look at another player.
- If two players are looking at each other, they both shout “Medusa” and drink a shot from the table.
- Keep going until all the shots have gone!
Drunk Pictionary
This drinking game is perfect for large groups. The competitive edge always goes down great at parties. You don’t need much stuff to play the game and you can play it for as long as you want.

How Long Does it Last? About 20 minutes
Number of Players: 8+ people
How to Play Drunk Pictionary:
- Players must get into teams of two.
- Each player takes it in turn to be the artist.
- The artist is given a picture to draw and then the timer is started.
- Their partner must guess what they are trying to draw.
- The artist must then drink for the number of seconds it took for their partner to guess what they were drawing.
Beer Pong
The classic frat party drinking game! It’s everyone’s favourite and is great for all group sizes and you don’t need any cards! This drinking game is great for teams, after all, everyone loves a bit of friendly competition. Especially after a few drinks!
What you’ll need:
- 10 pint sized plastic cups filled with your drink of choice
- A large table at least a few meters long preferably
- Ping pong ball
- Two teams
- Arrange your 5 cups each in a pyramid shape at each end of the table
- Try and throw the ping pong ball into the other teams cups
- If it lands in a cup, the other team has to drink that cup and then remove it from the table
- You can either bounce the ball into the cups, or try and throw it straight in. But if you miss and it goes too far, and the other team catches it, you have to drink one of your own cups.
- The team that drinks the least cups wins!

How to Play Charades:
- Each couple takes it in turn to play.
- One person in the couple thinks of a book, play or film usually, but it can be anything you choose, just make sure people know the categories.
- The player then tries to act it out without making any noise and their partner must guess what it is in under a minute.
- If they manage to, they earn a point.
- Some common clues used in charades are: pretending to read a book, pretending to crank a movie camera, and pretending to sing.
- You can hold up your fingers to indicate the number word you are trying to act out as well.
Pictionary
Pictionary is the perfect game for a couples game night. It’s a classic favourite for lots of people and has a great competitive edge.

- Paper

How Long Does it Last? Around 20 minutes
How to Play Pictionary:
- In your couples, choose who is the artist and who is guessing.
- The artist starts drawing a picture from a pre-selected secret list and their partner must guess what they are drawing.
- If they guess in under a minute, the couple earns a point.

- Put all the cards in the middle and draw 10 white cards each. Don’t look at any other cards apart from your own.
- Someone reads the first black card out.
- The other players must answer the question using one of their cards.
- The person who selected the black card must read all the answers and pick their favourite.
- The person with the most points at the end wins!

- Joking Hazard Card set
How Long Does it Last? Around 15-30 minutes
How to Play Joking Hazard:
- Each player should be given 7 cards
- The starting player must pick a card from the pile remaining and lay it down on the table.
- If it has a black border, they can add the card before or after the card on the table.
- The other players must then add a card to finish the set. Whoever adds the card which makes the funniest set (chosen by the original player) wins a point!
- If the card picked has a red border, the other players must add two cards to make the set of three. Whoever makes the funniest set wins the point.
