Sidecar Cocktail Recipe
Ingredients per Serving:
- 2 ounces cognac or bourbon
- 1 ounce Cointreau orange liqueur
- 3/4 ounce lemon juice
Shake the ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker, strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with an orange or lemon peel twist.
French 75
Ingredients per Serving:
- 1 ½ ounces gin
- ¾ ounce fresh lemon juice
- ¾ ounce simple syrup
- 2 to 3 ounces Champagne (to top the glass)
Shake the gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Strain into a chilled flute glass and top with champagne.
