Food and Drink

You can avoid the hassle of preparing a buffet by hiring a caterer that can deliver to your home or venue. But if you don’t fancy paying for a caterer, you  still don’t have to make everything yourself! Don’t be afraid to ask for help from your family or other parents. If you are happy to repay the favour for your friends, they’ll be happy to help. Also, don’t forget to check if any of your guests have allergies or special food requirements before deciding what food options to go with.

Using Microsoft Powerpoint is a super easy way to create party invitations. Get your child involved by asking them to give them out to their friends at school. But make sure to let all the parents know as well!

Birthday Cake

Think about what hobbies, movies, books, or sports your child likes in to get some inspiration or you could even get their favourite photo printed onto their cake! Hiring a professional in your area to decorate a show stopping cake is great idea to make your party special.  Or if you fancy yourself as a bit of a star baker, why not make the cake yourself to keep the costs down.

Great entertainment is the best way to get the party started and there are so many options to chose from! Why not hire a face painter, character appearance, magician or bouncy castle to keep your guests entertained. And don’t forget the music! There are plenty of ready-made playlists available for children’s birthday parties so plug in your phone to some speakers or if you want to go all out, you can hire a DJ to keep everyone entertained.
